How are computer security systems designed to make the work of hackers futile?

The true ‘hacker’ is not interested in getting into your computer. They are interested in how security works, and finding the flaws in that system.

Hackers want to know how something works, why it works, and if it can be made to do something it wasn’t designed to do.

Anyone who steals access to your computer is not a hacker, just a criminal.

Computer security systems are not designed to make the work of hackers futile because that’s precisely the job of the hacker, they are concerned with the security/insecurity of a computer system. Criminals however are not.
