How can I reset my computer security log-in before I even get to Windows?
I inherited a Gateway Tablet laptop. Before I can even get to the windows/xp screen, it prompts for a user-name and password. This seems to be happening outside of XP, because this screen pops up and won’t let me go any further. Any suggestions?
sounds like a bios password maybe. Quickest way would be to ask the person you got it from. Otherwise search the internet for a manual to try and find a backdoor password or a way to reset the bios
