right click one the norton icon at the bottom right of the screen and click disable norton

or open norton and go to your norton internet security and click on firewall and click disable/turn off

go to control panel > administrative tools > services > stop/disable all the norton stuff there by right clicking and selecting disable, after that you can just close norton and its completely disabled

    Hi Stretch,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

Please follow the steps below to properly remove Norton Internet Security from your system.

    1. Click on the following link to download the Norton Removal Tool:

    2. After you run the tool, please restart your computer. Then log in to Windows again and run the removal tool again. Restart your computer after it is finished running the second time as well.

    Thanks,
    Mike
