I uninstalled treatfire and it cannot be found on my computer yet security center says treat fire is on?
What can i do because i want to install a new antivirus program but can’t because whenever i try a message comes up and says that treatfire is active protecting my computer therefore i cannot install another anti virus.

This Microsoft procedure may help you
Download the Windows installer cleanup utility
When downloaded
Start
Programs
Search
Windows install cleanup
Highlight all treatfire
Click remove
Even if you uninstall Threatfire it can leave files behind – have a look in C: Program Files for a Threatfire folder or possibly PC Tools/Threatfire.
You can safely delete it.
