Is it safe to have Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials on the same computer?

I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 with Microsoft Security Essentials as my main A/V, but I was having trouble with my computer and read up on this Malwarebytes thing… Is it safe to use both of these products at the same time, with Real-time Protection for Security Essentials turned on during a Malwarebytes scan?

Yes its safe to have MSE and MBAM on the same PC. One is an real time anti virus and the other is an anti malware scanner. As long as they are not both real time anti virus programs then your ok.
