Norton Internet Security and AVG questions?
I recently bought a laptop on Ebay and it had Norton Internet Security installed already. But Norton is going to expire in a couple weeks.
What happens to Norton Internet Security when it expires??? Will I be able to scan my laptop? Will it continue to protect?….Or will Norton Internet Security be useless when it expires?
Since Norton is expiring, I’m planning to download AVG.
But do I have to delete/uninstall Norton if I want to install AVG?
Any help will be appreciated.
Once Norton expires, you can no longer update it. You’ll get viral attacks easily. Unintall Norton first then install AVG. Remember to update frequently.

You don’t HAVE to uninstall norton to install AVG, I had the exact same problem as you
But it’s better to because it won’t be doing anything, then just use AVG and make sure to update it regularly like the other guy said, works a charm for me :)

When your subscription to Norton Internet Security expires, please follow the process below to properly remove Norton, and then install the other software.
1. Click on the following link to download the Norton Removal Tool:

2. After you run the tool, please restart your computer. Then log in to Windows again and run the removal tool again. Restart your computer after it is finished running the second time as well.
