Question on computer security?

I have a windows Vista Laptop and have kaspersky antivirus 2009. I have done a scan and under “detected threats” it shows 7 that are considered very dangerous. The problem is, I don’t understand how I deal with the threats. I want to get the “very dangerous” files off my laptop, but I can’t find out what I have to do once it is detected in a security scan.

You definitely need to remove Kaspersky and download AVG and Malwarebytes! The two together will protect you much better and also are very user friendly. They talk you through what to do and remove all threats.
Go to the link below and download the recent versions of both. You can ask questions live with a technician and ask any questions you may have. Make sure to have them do a free scan to make sure your computer is not currently infected. You want to make sure the system is clean before adding any security programs.
    I hope this helps!

First thing you do is put them in quarentine from ruining other files on your computer…then look up in the Kaspersky library for help…each anti-virus product contains its own library for self-help…also if its a paid edition then you can contact Kaspersy directly by phone…that is part of their service agreement with their product……do not delete any of the files once in quarentine until you know what they are…you dont want to delete something that is pertinient to the operations of the computer or a file that runs an important software on your pc…I have 4 System files in quarentine and they will never be deleted because they are system 32 files which gets me connected to the internet… Once the files are quarentined they can do no more harm to your pc….
