Should I uninstall McAfee programs if I just downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials to protect my computer?
I don’t want other antivirus programs conflicting with my new security program. Does it even matter if McAfee is still running on my computer? If so, how would I uninstall it?

Both AV products will conflict with one another….remove McAfee…………
Start > control panel > add/remove programs….wait for the page to load…click on McAfee…then click remove…….Right click on the Icon in the System Tray and disable…before removing……..
