Security guard killed during robbery at jewellery store
A security guard was shot and killed during a robbery in broad daylight at a jewellery store located at High Street, San Fernando.
Police said the deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Andy Hosein.
According to initial reports, around 10:50am on Saturday four armed men entered Ketan Jewellers and announced a holdup.
The security guard was shot during the melee.
He died on the scene.
The four robbers escaped.
