Will a computer with viruses/spyware connected to a secured wireless network comprimise the safety/privacy of information being sent on other computers connected to this network?

YES! A single compromised computer on a network is a hole for intruders to enter the network and once they are on the network, they have access to pretty much anything! Not including the infected computer spreading the infections to other computers on the network!
